Here’s a community energy idea ….. Nice! A training facility that dries wood in a kiln that is fuelled by LPG, is being assisted by its local Community Power Hub to convert to biomass to fuel their kiln. To be more precise, the plan is for waste wood from operations will be used to create the hot air that circulates in through the kilns. There are technical complexities associated with this project but that’s what a feasibility study is for – is it possible technically, is it possible financially and do people think it’s a good idea? Hopefully it ‘stacks up’.
