Here’s a community energy idea … A local Community Power Hub is working with an organisation exploring the feasibility of solar panels to power a commercial laundry that employs people with disabilities. The community benefit of this project includes reduced costs that will allow expansion of services to provide additional employment for people with disabilities and displacement of grid based, fossil fuel electricity with renewable energy. Jobs will be created during the installation phase.
