The Gippsland Climate Change Network (GCCN) was appointed as the host organisation for the Latrobe Valley Community Power Hub (CPH LV). The GCCN is working with Sustainability Victoria (SV) to establish the Latrobe Valley Community Power Hub and implement locally based community owned renewable energy projects.

Victoria kick started the Community Energy movement in Australia with its flagship Hepburn Wind Community Wind Farm. Community Energy has grown in the state to take shape in local community bulk bay of solar hot water and PV systems, solar savers, Power Purchase Agreements.
